Eurolect in Translation on the Move: Diachronic Variation of Translation of the Passive in Institutional-Legal Texts

This study scrutinizes interlingual Eurolect from the perspective of use passive structures in English language versions EU institutional-legal texts while monitoring their variations translation Slovak versions. For purpose observing diachronic institutional translation, specific English-Slovak parallel corpora were compiled. The translational analysis draws on a text-based and corpus-driven approach incorporating mixed-method as fusion both qualitative quantitative research order to provide most relevant outcome.
